Cathrine "Kitty" Henderson, age 99 formerly of Perry Twp., passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017.
She was born October 3, 1917, in Mineral City the daughter of the late Ludwig and Flora (Theas) Eschmann.
Kitty retired from Canton Sportswear and was a member of ILGWU #543.   She enjoyed playing euchre and bowling.
She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Janet and Noah "Bud" Taylor of Holland, Ohio; daughter, Jacqueline Welsh McNamara of Newark, Ohio, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren,  several great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-laws Tillie Eschman of Massillon and Helen Eschman of Dalton and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Henderson who died in 1956, brothers, Edward E. Eschman, John Eschman and Raymond L. Eschman, sisters, Charlotte Brainerd, Flora Miller and Marie Sheppler.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel,  at 11:00 am. with Rev. Les Peine  officiating. 
Calling hours will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 am to11:00 am. prior to the service.
Burial to follow at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
