Colleen M.  Evans, age 88, of Jackson Twp.,  passed away  on Thursday, March 23, 2017. 
She was born December 11, 1928 in Justice (Sugarcreek Twp.), and was daughter of the late Robert E. and Gladys (Isler) Peach. 
Colleen retired from MCA Sign Company.  She was a former patron of the Order of Eastern Star.  She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, baking and gardening.
Colleen devoted most of her life taking care of her family. She spent a great amount of her time in the kitchen making homemade jams, apple butter and canning hot peppers.  Her apple pies were legendary.  She loved working in her flower gardens, vegetable gardens and watching her humming birds.  She enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, puzzles and ceramics.  Her greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  
Colleen is survived by her son Worl Evans Jr., daughter Jayne Ann Evans; and grandchildren; Aaron (Melissa) Gelm, Adam (Vanessa) Au, Jennifer (Chad) Lance, Ashley Evans, Nicholas Evans and Maggie Evans and eight great-grandchildren.  
 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Worl Evans Sr. and  brothers George and Arthur Peach. 
Per  Colleen's request there will be no calling hours  "If you didn't come see me when I was living, you sure as he**  don't need to come see me when I'm dead".  So, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
