Evelyn Elizabeth (Supon) Whatling, age 73, passed peacefully on May 17, 2017 at her home in Jackson Township, Ohio surrounded by family, after a brief struggle with cancer. Evelyn was born October 21, 1943, in Niagara Falls, New York the eldest daughter of the late Albert Supon and Elizabeth Durkin.  She was a 1961 graduate of Madonna High School in Niagara Falls.
In addition to raising three boys, she also worked for many years as a cafeteria aid for Jackson Local Schools where she met many of her closest friends. Evelyn enjoyed private moments snuggling up with a good book, playing Suduko, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and playing Bingo and lunching with her friends.  She especially enjoyed her last trip with her sisters swimming with dolphins in Cancun. She was especially noted for marathon shopping sprees, making holidays special, and her beautifully decorated Christmas trees.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of fifty five years Ronald Gary Whatling, three sons, Paul Whatling (Frank) of Washington D.C., Mark Whatling of Fort Myers, Florida and Christopher Whatling of Hartville, Ohio, two grandchildren Courtney and Braedon of Hartville, Ohio, four sisters Linda, Beverly, Mary Ann, and Eileen, and three brothers Donald, David and Thomas, and many nieces and nephews.  She was much loved and was a strong role model to all of us.
