LORI L. GARLOCK
Age 55, passed away peacefully after a four month illness on April 26, 2017 at Jackson Ridge Nursing Home. She was born in Akron, Ohio on July 22, 1961, and was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Raines, brother-in-law Robert Garlock and leaves behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband Tim Garlock whom she was married to for 34 years and her beloved son Jake. She is also survived by her devoted father Ron Raines of Green, brother David (Julie) Raines of St. Louis, MO. and their children Rachel, Paul and Joe, brother Daniel (Karen) Raines of Raleigh, N.C. , her in-laws Richard and Betty Garlock of Canton, and Thom and Karen Garlock of Jackson, WY., several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends, who all loved her dearly.
She will also be missed by their dog Bowie who will miss her loving hugs.
Lori was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Akron and also attended St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church in Massillon with her father, Ron.
Her family wishes to thank Mercy Hospice and the staff at Jackson Ridge Nursing Home for their loving care.
Per Lori’s wishes, she will be cremated.
A private service will be held for the family, but in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, in her memory at 550 E. Wilbeth Rd., Akron, Ohio 44301. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.heitger.com.
