Margaret Mary Dottavio, age 87, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at her residence in Massillon.
She was born May 29, 1929, in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Syvilla M. (Engel) Johnson.  She and her family moved to Massillon when she was 12 and lived here until her passing.
She was employed at Enterprise Aluminum until she married her husband of 60 years, Albert.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and she enjoyed gardening and pampering her two dogs, Ginger and Penny.
Margaret is survived by her children, Dennis (Susan) Dottavio, Michael (Deborah) Dottavio, Philip (Rebecca) Dottavio, Kathleen (Billy) Robey all of Massillon; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dottavio; grandsons, Matthew Dottavio and Michael Lovette; four sisters; and one brother. 
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Edward Gretchko, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church and will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at St. Paul's Church, 127 Cherry Rd NE, Massillon at 11am.
The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the mass from 10am to 11am. 
Her final place of rest will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Massillon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy Medical Hospice or St. Mary Catholic Church.
