Rita "Pinkie"  Ringley, age 92 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 .
She was born November 11, 1924, in Massillon the daughter of  the late Charles and Estella (Smith) Bachtel.
Rita was lovingly known by all as "Pinkie".  She was a 1942 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy.  Pinkie was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Massillon Lady Lions and Lady Elms Golfers.  She was Co-chairman of Hospitality for the World Series of Golf at Firestone Country Club for over 30 years. 
She was a 77 year member of the Massillon Woman's Club, an organization she loved passionately and devoted much of her time to the club's development and successes.  She joined the club in 1940 as a young lady and served as it's president from 1976-1977.    She was chairman of many sections including hostess chairman.  She will greatly missed by its membership.  
Pinkie is survived by her son, William C. Ringley; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Amy Ringley; and daughter, Kathleen J. Ringley; and “daughter” Deborah “Ingy” Ingersoll. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Ringley Jr.; brothers, Sylvester Bachtel, Earl Bachtel; sisters, Mary Evelyn Kelly and Theresa Kraft. 
Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond Paul celebrant.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church. 
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Massillon Woman's Club, Memorial Fund, 210 Fourth St. N.E., Massillon, Ohio  44646.
