Arthur Vincent George

Arthur V. George, age 84 of Jackson Twp., passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his residence.
He was born April 9, 1935, in New York, the son of the late Stephen and Lillian (Maud) George.
He was a Navy Veteran.
Arthur retired from University of Akron where he was a professor. 
Arthur is survived by his wife of 50 years, Fanny George and son and daughter-in-law, Charles P. and Dawn George.
Funeral services were July 29, 2019  at Heitger Funeral Home .Deacon Dennis Striker officiated.
Burial was held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
