Welcome to the memorial page for

Chester Brodzenski

October 13, 1930 ~ January 14, 2018 (age 87)

Chester Brodzenski, age 87 of Minerva, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Affinity Medical Center after such a long and hard battle following his stroke over a year ago.  He was born October 13, 1930, in Adena, Ohio, the son of the late Stanley and Helen (Runivitch) Brodzenski.  He is survived by his loving wife & best friend of over 26 years - Anita Louise (Angel) Brodzenski, his children JinnyLyn (Ronald) Hacker & family of Mansfield, Ohio; Timothy Brodzenski (Sharon Myers) & family of Hartville, Ohio; Debi (Barry) Wolfe & family of Massillon, Ohio; Tom (Cheryl) Williams & family of Sherrodsville, Ohio; Bill Williams (Lisa Daves) & family of Akron, Ohio; Rose Rivard (Jon Gilstrap) of Tennessee; Samuel Brodzenski of Tennessee; Duncan (Sheila) Williams of Rockingham, North Carolina & Catherine (Bernard) Burton of Plantation, Florida and several nieces, nephews, grand and great-grandchildren.
Chester retired from Diebold after 33 years of service as an electrician/painter.  He was a proud member of Berean Bible Church and the Robertsville Grange #1784 for 17 years.  Chester enjoyed spending his time with Anita - from their square dancing days, to flipping burgers at the fair, to their checker championships at the nursing home, they were always side by side, hand in hand.  He would always be there to tell us to “keep a stiff upper lip” and to offer his advice and a sharp sense of humor.
The family would like to thank the therapy department at Amherst Meadows for the great care they gave him during his stay following his stroke and all the staff/physicians at Affinity Medical Center for the wonderful care that was always given each and every time he was there.
A memorial service honoring Chester will be held at a later date.  Condolences to the family may be made at <>
