Jean Anne Braun

Jean A. Braun, age 77, of  Massillon, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. 
She was born January 30, 1940, in Canton the daughter of  the late Lee and Madelyn (Mayberry) Mowder.
Jean had worked at the former First National Bank, Ohio Power and retired from Massillon Board of Education.  She was a volunteer for Feed My Starving Children and for Mother Theresa Guild. 
She was a member of NewPointe Community Church. 
Jean was devoted to her family and is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Annette Braun; son, Bryan Braun; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Mark Mauger; brother, Thomas (Ann) Mowder; grandchildren David ( Dana) Braun, Ben (Maddie) Braun, Jacob Braun, Jesyca Braun, Sydnee Braun, Elizabeth Mauger and Melanie Mauger. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary who died in 2014 and brothers Robert and Jack Mowder. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan 31, 2018 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon, Ohio  44646.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Dwight Mason officiating.  

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Massillon.  
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Feed My Starving Children, 401 - 93rd Ave. N.W., Coon Rapids, MN  55433.
