Jennie V. (Tiarog) Crone

Jennie “Ginger” (Tiarog) Crone, 90 of Massillon passed away January 25th, 2018 at Affinity Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born June 1st, 1927 in Massillon to the late Nicholas and Agrapina (Shofari) Tiarog.
She attended school in Cleveland and Massillon. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church since 1946. Ginger was employed in the office of The Ideal Co, George Armour Amherst’s Women’s store, and Linde’s Women’s clothes. She retired as manager of Linde’s in 1984.
She and her husband, Cletus J. Crone Jr were married at St. Mary’s on June 21st, 1947, 70 years of a blessed marriage. They enjoyed dancing at Meyer’s Lake Moonlight ballroom and gardens. Also, at the local Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed baking for family and friends.
Ginger is survived by her husband, Cletus J. Crone Jr; sons Michael F. Crone, Patrick J. (Cindy) Crone: grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Bantum, Michael W. Crone; great-grandchildren, Drew, Blake, and Grant Bantum. Her friends Paul and Arlene Rusk and favorite niece Sandy Huth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Sylvia Godan and brothers; John and Daniel Tiarog.

Calling hours will be held Monday, January 29th, 2018 at Heitger Funeral Home Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE from 11am-12:45pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 29th, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 1pm with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant.
Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ginger’s name to St. Mary Catholic Church.
