Terry W. Reichel, age 82 of Massillon , passed away Friday, February 3, 2017.
He was born in Massillon on June 12, 1934,  the son of the late Herman J. and Grace (Horst) Reichel. 
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a  member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Terry retired from the City of Massillon where he served as a firefighter and EMT. 
He is survived by his daughter, Debra J. Stamper of Columbus; brother, Richard Reichel of Florida; sister, Elizabeth Paflas of Minerva; grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) Stamper, Daniel Stamper and Jeremy Violette, Brandon Welk, Brian Welk, Brianna Welk and Emily Moegling; and great-granddaughter, Sidney Stamper. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Reichel who died in 1999; son, Todd Reichel; and daughter, Terri Welk.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 1 P.M. along with a Last Alarm Service at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St. N.E., Massillon with Pastor Emily Seitz officiating.
Visitation will be held  from 11 A. M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral prior to the service. 
Burial to follow the service at  Brookfield Cemetery.
