Thomas Nick Prokopchuk, went to be with our Lord after an extended illness on January 14, 2017. He was born on April 6, 1957 in Canton, Ohio. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Evelyn Prokopchuk, brothers John Prokopchuk and Merle Clark. He is survived by his loving wife, Jamie Prokopchuk., two sisters, Josephine (David) Herbert of Massillon, Roseanne (David) Krisko of Cincinnati, daughter, Jana  (Darin) and grand-daughter, Autumn Hager, son, Adam (Rachel) and grand-daughter, Sophia Prokopchuk, step-children, Craig (Christine) Postel, step-grand-daughter Rhiannon, step-daughter Danielle (Craig) Shrewsberry and step-grand-daughter Natalie, step-daughter Ashley Postel and her fiancé Thomas Downerd; and sister-in-law, Robin Hoskins.

Tom had the biggest heart and loved his family. He was a special and loving husband to his wife Jamie. He loved working together on projects with Jamie in making their home special. Tom especially loved cuddling with his Italian Greyhound Bleu.

Tom worked for over 30 years at NFM Welding Engineers Inc., in Massillon. His co-workers became his second family. We would like to thank NFM Welding Engineers Inc., for all the support they gave Thomas during his illness.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday January 27th, 2017 at North Industry United Methodist Church at 155 Faircrest St. S.W. Canton, OH 44706.  Pastor Jeri K. Johnson will be officiating at 4:00 pm. Donations may be made to the church in lieu of flowers. You may contact the church at: 330-484-3283.
