Aleksandar Sekulovski, age 89 of Massillon passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Amherst Meadows following a brief illness.

He was born February 24, 1923 in Bitola Macedonia and had lived here since 1969. He retired from Superior Meats in 1983 and was a member of St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Olga, son Tome (Rebecca) Sekulovski of Rochester Hills, Michigan, daughter Slavica (Vanco) Dorakovski of Massillon, son-in-law Nikola Bojarov, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren., many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his daughter Gordana Bojarova.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel 5850 Wales Ave. N.W. Massillon with Trisagia (evening prayer service) beginning at 8 P.M.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 , at 10:30 A.M. at St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church with The Very Reverend Zoran Zdravev. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
