Allen E. Daugherty, age 51, of Canton, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 following an extended illness.
He was a graduate of Mt. Union College and served in the Ohio National Guard.
Allen's work included helping those with substance abuse.
He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Daugherty and fiancé Austin Reese; brother, Bryan (Amy) Daugherty; nephews, Braden and Nolan; his parents, Glenn and Teala (Molson) Daugherty; and Aunt, Cutia Yoder.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 4 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home, Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Rd. N.W., Massillon.
His final place of rest will be Sunset Hills Burial Park.
