Alyce Irene Sonnhalter, 72 of Massillon went home to the Lord April 1, 2013 at Affinity Medical Center.

She was born November 27, 1940 in Massillon the daughter of the late Curtis and Nettie (Arney) Kilgore.

Alyce retired from Doctors Hospital after many years of service.

She was a member of Sixteen St. John's Church.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John W. Sonnhalter; sons, Bradley R. (Jodi) Williams; Brian R. Williams (Tara Willis); daughters, Tara M. (Nicholas) Nussbaum; Melissa R. (Doug) Price; seven grandchildren, Briley Williams, Nicholas, Alexia and Alexander Nussbaum, Morgan, Sydney, and Riley Price; brother, Ralph Kilgore of Carrollton; sister, Etta Warne of Florida.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11AM, Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, with Pastor Tom Hough officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the funeral home from 6pm-8pm. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Massillon.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Sixteen St. John's Church, 1588 Manchester Ave SW, North Lawrence, OH 44666.
