Andrew Gault Anderson “Bud”, son of Ralph and Martha Anderson passed away on July 15, 2026 at Aultman Select Specialty Hospital.

He was born on June 20, 1946 in Akron.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his husband, Raymond Fisher; brother, William Anderson; sister, Alicia Carr; twin sister, Andrea Poling; nephew, Jerry Carr; nieces, Andrea Lynn Rashaud, Lynn Sheeler, Heather Heppe; brothers-in-law, Jim Carr and Tom Stell; and sister-in-law, Jo Anne Fisher.

He is survived by brothers-in-law, Jon Fredric Fisher and Paul “Igor” Poling; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He graduated from East High School in 1965 and was employed by Country Pure Foods for over 37 years. He was a co-founder of Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Akron. He was a caretaker of numerous friends and relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon at 11AM with Pastor Nick Nicholson officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM.

Inurnment to follow the service at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in North Canton.
