Obituary

Anna "Marge" Margaret (Wazlavek) Eggenschwiler of Medina since 2021, passed away April 7, 2023.


Marge was born in Massillon, September 12, 1929, to the late Carl and Anna May (Huwig) Wazlavek.


She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Alice Doll; her brother, Carl B. Wazlavek; and three husbands, Nelson R. McKinney, Anthony V. Friedel, Richard O. Eggenschwiler; and grandson, David Scott Vogelsong.


She leaves behind five children, Linda L. (David) Vogelsong of Navarre, Pamela S. (Partner Robert Bevington) Biaz of Toledo, Patricia A. (the late Stephen) Miller of Medina, Timothy M. (Maggie) McKinney of Bainbridge, and Terry L. (Patti) McKinney of Massillon. She has 13 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.


Marge enjoyed Christmas, mowing her lawn, dancing, bowling, beer, and ice cream. She was a member of the VFW in Massillon, Eagles, Moose, and Sons of Herman. She was a former employee of Superior Meats and the YMCA.


The family will receive friends on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, from 11:00 am to Noon.


Burial to follow the visitation at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
