Barbara J. Harwart, age 89 of Canton, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at The Inn At Belden Village. She was born October 13, 1931, in Canton the daughter of  the late Guy and Nancy (Essig) Breninger. Barbara retired from Mercy Medical Center where she was an x-ray technician. She was a member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church. Barbara is survived by two step daughters, Cindy (Bill) Ertle and Patrice (Larry) Perry; step son, John (Lisa) Harwart; nieces, Marilyn Guerrieri, Marlena Kohler, Denise Lemon, and Rochelle Yuga; nephews, David Breninger and Roy Breninger; grandchildren, Julie Perry, Chris (Angie) Perry, Timothy (Brittney) Ertle and Traci (Andy) Baumann; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Samantha, Ella Baumann, Tyler and Cooper Ertle, Jayden and Christian Perry, Sarah Perry, and Kristen Ritzman. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Harwart; brothers, Clyde, John, and Ralph Breninger; sisters, Ruth Yuga and Mary Kuehner. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and her memorial service will be held April 11, 2021 at 3 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel.
