Beatrice Schroeder, age 79 of Jackson Twp, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born February 19, 1939, in Hayesville, N.C., the daughter of the late Verlin and Jesse G. (Ledford) Burch.
She was a former member of  Bethel Temple and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Beatrice is survived by son and daughter-in-law,  Michael A. and Caroline Schroeder of Jackson Twp; brother, Robert L. Burch of FL; sister, Betty Williams of Massillon; grandchildren Amber Schisler, Steven Schroeder, Skylar Schroeder and Brittany Schroeder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edwin L. Schroeder Jr., and sister Bernette McConnell.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon.  Visitation will be  6 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.
