Bess A. Boylan, age 59 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born December 3, 1961 in Massillon, daughter of the late Thomas and Norma (Whitmer) Griffiths. Bess is survived by her husband of 40 years, Mike Boylan; son, Marc Boylan; grandson, Owen Boylan; brothers, Benny, Denny and Scotty Griffiths. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2 to 4 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Road N.W., Massillon. A Celebration of Life service will follow and begin at 4 P.M. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stark County Humane Society, P O Box 7077, Canton, Ohio  44705.
