Obituary

Betty Jean (Goodrich) Lebo age 87 of Jackson Twp., passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was born April 1, 1925 in Akron, Ohio daughter of the late James and Edna (White) Goodrich. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald W. Lebo, sons Donald W. Lebo Jr. and Dennis G. Lebo all of Jackson Twp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Joan M. Voltz of Deer Park, TX.

She was a 1945 graduate of McKinley High School and had worked for Sealtest Milk/Sanitary Dairy and Ohio Bell Telephone Company where she was a switchboard operator. She was a member of McDonaldsville United Methodist Church where she was in the choir for over 30 years and was an officer in the Friendship Sunday School class. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, and also active in ladies aux of Jackson Twp., # 2 Fire Department. She and her husband were active members and chaplain of the Hi-Lo Trailer Club for many years. She was active in the CYC water exercise class.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2 to 5 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Av. N.W.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Urschitz officiating. Burial will follow to Sunset Hills Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McDonaldsville UMC. 7641 Wales Av. NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
