Betty Joyce Triplett, 64 of Navarre passed away May 5, 2014 at Affinity Medical Center.

She was born May 15, 1949 in Frozen Run, WV the daughter of the late Carl and Marie (Nicholas) Lawson.

Joyce retired from Fairless Schools and Brewster Federal Credit Union.

She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, gardening, flowers and spending time with her grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O'Neil Triplett in 1997; sisters, Geraldine King, Virginia Waggoner; brothers, Leroy and Ronald Lawson; step daughter, Wendy Triplett.

Joyce is survived by her son, Brian Triplett of Navarre, grandchildren, Tyler O'Neil and Maci Marie Triplett; siblings, Eleanor Lawson of Navarre, Mildred (Jesse) Daniels of Dundee; Robert (Brenda) Lawson of Brewster, Ernie (Betty) Lawson of Navarre; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held at 1pm Saturday May 10, 2014 at Welty Cemetery in Beach City with Rev. Robert Lawson officiating.  Immediately following the burial a memorial service will be held at the main building of the Wilderness Center, 9877 Alabama Ave SW Wilmot, Ohio 44689.
