Beverly Williams, age 84 of Jackson Township, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at The Village of St. Edwards at Fairlawn.

She was born July 1, 1941, in Canton, the daughter of the late Earl and Lucille Cherry.

Beverly was a retired nurse. She spent most of her career as the school nurse for Canton Local Schools and worked for the Stark County Board of Education.  She was a member of North Industry Christian Church for many years.

Beverly enjoyed her being with her grandchildren and attending all of their activities. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing mahjong with her friends. She was an active member of the Massillon Women’s Club.

Beverly is survived by sons, Bennet (Michelle) Williams, Michael (Kim) Williams; son in law Jeff Fausnight; grandchildren, Tyler, Nick, Parker, Hannah, Abby, Rachael, and Claire; great-grandchild, Scarlett and Raylynn.

She was preceded in death by husband, Terry Ray Williams; daughter, Jennifer Fausnight; and brother, Leslie Cherry.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 29th at the Canton Garden Center at Stadium Park at 11am.  Her final place of rest will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in North Canton.
