Bonnie Jean Hodgson, age 81, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Country Lawn Nursing Home.

She was born January 14, 1933 in Akron, the daughter of the late Opal (Brinker) and Frank Jenkins Sr.

Bonnie retired from Camelot Music in 1995, previously she had worked at Superior Meats.

Bonnie is survived by husband of 61 years, Eugene T. Hodgson; son, Michael T. Hodgson (Joi Letcavits); daughters, Dawn Casten, Jodi Hodgson; brother, Frank (Shirley) Jenkins; sister, Gloria Sonagere; three grandchildren, Grace Long,  Lake Long and Nicole Casten, many nieces, nephews and close friends and her beloved dog Nibby Nose and her bird Luke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Jenkins; sister, Geraldine Johnson.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 13 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service – Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE.
