Brenda Jean (Ward) Schaub, 72 of Jackson Twp., passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 following a brief illness.

She was born March 12, 1943 in Weston, WV the daughter of the late Eugene and Ava (Cutright) Ward.

She was a graduate of McKinley High School.

Brenda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching them in their sports and school activities.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Vernon J. Schaub; daughters, Kim (Tim) Lash, Pam (Stan) Sereychas, Kelly Schaub; two sisters; six brothers; eight grandchildren, Shane and Brooke Lash, Cody, Emily, and Abigail Decker, Sydney and Stanley Sereychas, and Breonna Cutts.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughter, Michelle Decker.

The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Heitger Funeral Home Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, from 4-6pm.

Private burial to be held at Sunset Hills at a later date.
