Calvin LeRoy Turner, Jr., age 77 of Louisville and formerly of Akron, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at St. Joseph Care Center.
He was born March 2, 1940, in Barberton, Ohio, the son of the late Calvin and Vera Turner Sr.
Calvin retired from Akron University.  He formerly worked at Firestone Rubber and Coca Cola Company.
He is survived by daughters, Jennifer Jamison of Hartville, Lori Yeager of Cincinnati and Beth Malboeuf of Canal Fulton, grandchildren Samantha Thomas, Dustin Turner, Caitlin Yeager, Lance Yeager, Bryce Yeager, Jared Malboeuf, Dane Malboeuf, Caleb Malboeuf, and great-grandchildren Brayden and Gabriella.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Willis and Burdell Franks and his fiancee and constant companion Linda Steffensen.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
