Carl A. Oser, 86 of Massillon, passed away March 19, 2014 at his home.

He was born February 6, 1928 in Canal Fulton and a veteran of the US Army.

Carl was a real estate broker, builder and developer for 60 years.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #554 3rd Degree, and the Stark County Realtor's Association.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris (Miller) Oser; a son, David M. Oser of Hanahan, SC; two daughters, Holly S. Knapp of Mogadore, Kasey A. (Joe) Sellati of Cary, NC; nine grandchildren, Andrew Oser, David Oser, Heidi Odegard, Amy Evans, Dylan Palmer, Derek Palmer, Devin Knapp, Garrett Sellati, and Shay Sellati. and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla K. Oser, daughter-in-law, Phyllis A. Oser and brother, Harold Oser.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Heitger Funeral Home, 639 First St. N.E. from 6 to 8 PM with a K of C 3rd Degree service at 6 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10 AM with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant.

Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Massillon.
