Carol M. Aman, age 92 of Massillon, passed away peacefully, December 17, 2022 at Danbury Assisted Living surrounded by her family. She was born April 30, 1930, in Massillon, daughter of the late Alfred and Anna (Kinney) Heimann. Carol was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1948.  She was an LPN. After retiring from the field of nursing, she was a volunteer at Massillon Community Hospital.  She was a life time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and belonged to the Massillon YMYW where she had been an avid swimmer.  She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and being with family. Carol is survived by her husband of 71 years, Donald E. Aman; daughter, Nancy Weller; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sue Aman; grandchildren, Miranda (Ty) Miller, Timothy (Katherine) Aman, Sarah (Derek) Buck, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Aman; son-in-law, Donald Weller; sister, Jeanne Vass; and brothers, Richard and Paul Heimann. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon with The Very Rev. Canon Matthew Mankowski, celebrant.  Calling hours will be held at the church prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Burial to follow the service in  Rose Hill Memorial Park in Massillon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Traditions Health Hospice, 207 Portage Trail Ext. W., Cuyahoga Fall, Ohio  44223. The family would like to thank the staff of Danbury Senior Living.
