Carol L. Hensley, age 86 of Jackson Township, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at Altercare of Nobles Pond.

She was born October 14, 1936 in Canton, the daughter of the late Quentin and Margaret (Brant) Phillips.

Carol retired from Jackson Local Schools where she was a cook for many years.

She was a member of the McKinley Eagles. She loved canning tomatoes and gardening.

Carol is survived by her husband of 32 years, Arnie Hensley; sons, Frank (Lila) Bocinec and Andrew Bocinec; and daughter, Susan Bocinec Terry (Tim); grandsons, Craig Shortland and Ryan Terry.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, Andrew A. Bocinec and sons, Timothy Shortland and Joseph Bocinec.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
