Clarence "Charlie" Buhecker, 78, formerly of Canton, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Danbury Senior Living.

Born on December 6, 1947, in Canton, he was the son of the late Alvin and Annabelle (Reighart) Buhecker.

A Vietnam Era U.S. Air Force veteran, Charlie retired from Ohio Power and later worked at Camelot Music.

He attended Massillon First Baptist and Mt. Calvary Baptist Churches. Charlie served as a past president of the Tiger Bandparents and was involved with the Canton City All-Breed Training Club and Agathon Kennel Club.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Youlia Buhecker, and Robert and Randi Buhecker; and his grandchildren, Nikka, Liam, and Gavin Buhecker.

He was preceded in death by his son, David John Buhecker; his uncle, Edward J. Buhecker; aunt, Myrtle Buhecker; and his grandsons, Grant and Garret Buhecker.

Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026, from 4 to 6 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - MASSILLON CHAPEL.

The committal ceremony and burial will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2025, at 2:30 P.M. at Rose Hill Memorial Park, with military honors.
