Clifford W. Gardiner, age  87 of Massillon passed away Friday, July 14, 2017.
He was born April 22, 1930, in  Washington, PA, son of the late Edward and Alice (Gray) Gardiner.
Clifford worked for 33 years as a truck driver for Brown/Graves Lumber Company in Akron.
He enjoyed gambling and fishing.
Clifford is survived by daughters, Carol Simmons and Suzanne Krohn; sons, Clifford "Bud" (Sherry) Gardiner II, Ron Simmons and  Brian Gardiner (Kellie); eight granddaughters, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Gardiner, seven brothers one sister.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 12 Noon at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel with Rev. Calvin Hamblin officiating.  Burial to follow the service in Oakwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
