Obituary

Jack "Clarkie" Clark, age 92 of Massillon, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family.


He was born June 6, 1922, in Canton, the son of the late Clyde and Louise (Martinet) Clark.


Jack was an Army veteran serving during WWII in Germany and France.


He was a garduate of Kent State University.
Jack retired from Massillon City Schools after 40 years of service as the grounds keeper for Massillon Tiger Stadium.


Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy (Maurer) Clark; daughter, Stacy (Kelly) Hopfensperger of Jackson Twp.; two grandchildren, Tyler and Jordyn Hopfensperger.


He was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Hamel, Dorothy Cook, and brother, Robert Clark.


Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Chapel at 11:30AM with Pastor Bryan George officiating.


Per Jack's request there will be no calling hours.
