We regret to announce the passing of Connie Finley, age 98, who passed away peacefully at home on October 5th, 2026.

Connie was a graduate of Massillon Washington High School and went on to work for many years at ECHO. She enjoyed spending time with the people she loved, working in her yard whenever she was able, crocheting blankets for her family, and visiting with friends at the Knights of Columbus and Saint Joseph Soup Kitchen. Connie cherished the simple things in life and the time she spent with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Giuseppe and Dominica Medure; her two sisters, Antoinette Griffith and Joanne Reynold; her brother, Tony Medure; and her beloved daughter, Karen Iams.

Connie is survived by her son, Noel Finley; son-in-law, Mike Iams; and five grandchildren: Sam (Tara) Finley, Mike (Mary Vesarro) Finley, Aron Gayheart, Justin (Tiffany) Iams, and Kayleigh (David) Drake. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Connie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched throughout her 98 years.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2025 at 10 A.M. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Fr. Thomas Bishop officiating.
