Coral  M. Rich, age 87, of Massillon, passed away June 6, 2022. She was born December 22, 1934, in Canton, the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Totten) Hardwick. Coral was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.  She enjoyed sewing and taking care of her grandchildren. Coral  is survived by son & daughter-in-law, L. Chris and Jenny Rich; son, Joseph Rich; daughter, Barbara Rich; sisters, Violet (June) Earl, Judy Peaspanen; brother, George Hardwick Jr.;  seven grandchildren;  four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis B. Rich, daughter, Joan Costello; brother, Joel (Gene) Hardwick; and sister, Georgia (Kathy) Yost. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.,  at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W. Massillon. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church with The Very Rev. Canon, Matthew Mankowski, celebrant.
