Corrinne Dzurko, age 84 of Jackson Township passed away on July 7, 2023.
She was born October 4, 1938 in Akron.
Corrinne retired from the Jackson School systems, previously having worked at O'Neils, and Halle's.
She was a member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church. She loved Cleveland sports (especially the Indians).
Corrinne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Michael R. Dzurko; children, Michael A. (Sherry) Dzurko, Michelle Cavallaro (Steve Hritz); grandchildren, Madeline (Eric) Fackelman, Morgan (Alan) Zagal; great-grandson, Eric Michael Fackelman; sister, Mary Lou Johnston; and nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Bosco; father, Andrew Schippiccasse; sisters, Patricia Skinner-Davis and Helen Simcic; son-in-law, Charlie Cavallaro.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Heitger Funeral Home – Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church, 412 High St, Canal Fulton on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 10 AM with Rev. Thomas Cebula celebrant.
A graveside service will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Columbus on Tuesday, July 18 at 10 AM.
