Cynthia "Cindy" Costain, age 68 of Massillon, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 surrounded by her family.
She was born July 26, 1953, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Richard and Norma (Haer) Steffee.
Cynthia worked as a payroll clerk for Logan Trucking and retired in 2015.
She was a member of Sons and Daughters of Herman and had served as secretary.
She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and her animals.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Wayne Costain; daughter and son-in-law, Chrissy and Wayne Gallion; son, John (Lindsey Domer) Costain; grandchildren, Allison and Zackary Gallion and Tyler and McKenzie Costain; and  sister, Vicki (Bill) Cole.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 12 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon, Ohio  44646 with Rev. Les Peine officiating.
Calling hours will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sons and Daughters of Herman Benevolent Fund, 1994 Deermont Ave. N.W., Massillon, Ohio  44647.
