Cynthia A. Stonebrook, age 71, of Jackson Twp.,  passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born September 30, 1953, in Canton, the daughter of the late James and Irene (Sonnhalter) McGuire. Cindy was a 1972 graduate of Jackson Memorial High School where she was a two year member of National Honor Society.  She attended X-ray Technology School at Timken Mercy Hospital in Canton.  She had been employed at various doctors' offices and hospitals in the area. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Cindy was an avid reader, enjoyed going to concerts, and traveling. Cindy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas J. Stonebrook; sister, Julie (Barry) Schoen; godchildren, Danny White, Jason Bachtel, Kayla Downey, Laura Downey, and Kelsey Brown; niece, Ann Mowad; nephews, Joe Mowad and Michael Stonebrook. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve McGuire; and brother-in-law, Pete Stonebrook. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel at 12 Noon with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 11 A.M. to Noon. Burial to follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens.
