Daniel L. Shepler, Sr., age 68 of Jackson Twp, passed away on March 29, 2014. He was born March 30, 1945 in Canton, son of the late Clinton and Pearl (Ling) Shepler.

He retired from ABB where he was shop manager.

He is survived by his children Daniel Shepler Jr, Terry Mayle and Macie Carter all of Florida, special friend Stephanie Turner of Jackson Twp., step-children Joy Webber of Jackson Twp., and Lauren Ashton of Canton, brothers Larry (Joanne) Shepler of Green and Jon (Jane) Shepler of Clearwater, FL, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Fred and Theodore Shepler and sister Betty Barr.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Av. N.W., Massillon. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 P.M. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
