David D. Anderson, 66 of Navarre passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
He was born September 28, 1948 in New Martinsville, WV the son of the late George and Pearl (Brock) Anderson.

David served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the US Marine Corps and was a Purple Heart recipient.

He retired from Republic Steel  Massillon Cold Finish and was Past President of Union Local #1566 United Steel Workers.  He was an outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his children, David (Erica) Anderson of Navarre, Steven (Nichole) Anderson of Akron, John Anderson of Canton, Michael Anderson of Massillon, Diana Meyer of Maryland, Jennifer (Jim) Ertle of Green; brothers, Bill Anderson, Junior Anderson, Burl Anderson; sisters, Geraldine Haught, Irene Duke, Ilene Raber all of West Virginia; 11 grandchildren, Lindsey and Kaitlyn Anderson, Jason and Samantha Ivan, Joseph Meyer, Andrew and Meagan Ertle, Sophia and Brady Anderson, Dillon and Amelia Anderson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd at 11:30 A.M.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 at the church prior to the Mass.

Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. with military honors.
