David L. Unklesbay, 71 of Perry Twp., died Wednesday, January 11, 2012.

He was born October 10, 1940 in Massillon, the son of the David and Mildred (Stancheck) Unklesbay.

He retired from BFI where he was a mechanic and previously worked at B and C Transportation as a truck driver and mechanic.

David was a member of Grace Bible Church in North Lawrence.

David is survived by wife, Freda Anne Unklesbay of Perry Twp.; son, David A. Unklesbay of Canton, three daughters, Sharon (Roger) Townsend of Sarasota, FL, Nancy (Sterling) Moore of Canton, Marcia (Tracy) Wharton of Massillon; three brothers, Archie (Debbie) Unklesbay, Terry Unklesbay, Ronald (Linda) Unklesbay; two sisters, Martha Stevens and Mildred S. LaPorte; eleven loving grandchildren and three special great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Mitchell.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 15 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE.

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM following the visitation with Pastor Mick Robinson officiating.
