Deborah A. Farkas, age 71, of Plain Twp., passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born August 17, 1954, in Akron, the daughter of the late James and Virginia (Phillips) Scarbrough.

Deborah worked at Babcock and Wilcox for over 40 years before retiring as a warehouse manager. Deborah enjoyed traveling with her senior groups, gardening, volunteering with the Stark Parks, and playing euchre with friends.

Deborah is survived by her son, Matt (Kristin) Farkas; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Farkas and brother, Bob Scarbrough. She also leaves behind her brother, Ronald Scarbrough, several nieces and nephews, and close friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Exploration Gateway, 5712 - 12th St. N.W., Canton, Ohio  44708

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
