Debra "Midget" Dowling, age 57, went to be with the Lord, her Savior, after a courageous battle with cancer, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at The James Cancer Research Center.

She was born November 4, 1956, the daughter of the late Paul E and Catherine (Irvin) Stowers.

Debra is survived by daughter, Shanetta Ferryman (Richard Davlin) of Canton, son, Robert "Bucky" Dowling Jr. (Harmony Williams) of Newark, and as a foster parent many called her Mom and loved her unconditionally; sister, Wanda "Sloppy" (Robert) Phillips, brothers, Paul (Debbie) Irvin, Ronald "Hot Rod" (Maggie) Stowers; she also had many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "LR" Dowling; sisters, Patsy Hypes and Betty Purn.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, Massillon at 6:00 PM with Pastor Scott Rosen officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service at Heitger Funeral Home.

Burial at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.
