Della H. Studniarz, 83, of North Canton, OH, formerly of Maple Heights, OH, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on November 14, 2011.

She was born in Braddock, PA to Lawrence and Helen Tamino on January 17, 1928.

Mrs. Studniarz worked for the State of Ohio at Western Reserve Psychiatric Hospital in Sagamore Hills, retiring in 1993. She attended St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton.

Mrs. Studniarz was a member of St. Paul's Woman's Guild, New Beginnings Club, Red Hat Society, AARP #2894, and American Legion Auxiliary Post #163 where she served as a Past President. She was an avid dog lover, enjoyed movies, card playing, dinners with the ladies, and gambling excursions with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Joseph; sisters, Madeline Tamino, Rose Ruffolo and Mary Lynch; brothers, Vincent, John, Joseph, and Charles Tamino.

Survived by sons, Lawrence and Timothy Studniarz of Macedonia; daughter, Tina (Alan) Beswick of Massillon; grandsons, Joe (Corinne) Beswick of Strongsville, Neil Beswick of Euclid and granddaughter, Katie Beswick of Sagamore Hills. Della was also an aunt and great-aunt to many, along with having many dear friends.

Calling hours will be 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Heitger Funeral Home- Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44646.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 AM on November 17, 2011 at St. Paul Catholic Church 241 S. Main St. North Canton with Rev. Stephen Zeigler celebrant.

Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
