Delores Mae Vitale, age 85 of Canton, died peacefully Thursday, December 15, 2011 surrounded by her family. She will be joining her husband, Joseph, in eternal rest.

She was born April 27, 1926 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late James and Ethel (Kay) White.

Delores is survived by four daughters, Florence Maydock, Frances Monick, Susan Vitale, Diane (Elton) Williams all of Canton; two sons, James Vitale of Louisville, Joseph (Cheryl) Vitale of North Canton; brother, Charles (Joan) White; sister, Kay Worden of Zanesville; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by infant son, Leo and son, Leo Vitale, two sisters, Betty and Clara, two brothers, Raymond and Bill.

A private graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
