Demming O 'Pickel' Henthorne Jr., age 69 of North Lawrence, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was born August 8 1943 in Pipecreek, Ohio son of the late Demming and Leola (McVay) Henthorne. He had worked for Buckeye Security and loved the Cleveland Browns. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Lana Henthorne, son Timothy L. Henthorne, daughters Bonnie Eberhert and Tina Stoneking, brother Melvin Henthorne and sisters Shirley Mellott and Stella Forshay, three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral serivce will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Dalton.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
