Dolores 'Dee' (Crone) Featheringham, age 82, died Friday, August 19, 2011 following a brief illness.

She was born November 6, 1928, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Zelda (Bevan) Crone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Rebecca Featheringham.

Dee had lived in Massillon until 1962 then moved to Columbus. She later lived in Joliet, IL, D.C. area of Virginia and had moved back to Massillon in 2005.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, St. Mary Catholic Church and Rosary Altar Society, the Isabellas, and formerly belonged to St. Michael's Church in Annandale, Virginia where she established St. Michael's Senior Group. Dee was a volunteer at Leewood Nursing Home in Annandale and enjoyed bowling. She had worked as a secretary at Brown Lumber Company from 1945 to 1960.

Dee is survived by her husband of 59 years, Walter J. Featheringham, son and daughter-in-law Brian and Carole Featheringham of Falmouth, ME, and son Craig Featheringham of Massillon.

There will be no calling hours, however, all are invited to join the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 A.M. with Fr. Edward Gretchko celebrant. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's Memorial, 726 First St. N.E., Massillon, Ohio 44646.
