Donald H. Hansen, age 92 formerly of Massillon died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Brewster Park Nursing Home.

He was born August 18, 1920 in Alliance, Ohio and was a graduate of McKinley High School.

He was a veteran of the Air Force and served during WWII in Europe. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling and was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.

He is survived by daughters Patricia Hansen of Massillon and Paula Hansen Kuhlman of Tacoma, Wash., grandsons Jeffrey and Mark Kuhlman of Tacoma, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold P. and Marie (Miller) Hansen, wife Sedilia (Troendly) Hansen who died in 2000, brother Ralph Hansen and infant son James Hansen.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at 10 A.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Cebula celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Barbara Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 from 5 to 7 P.M. with a prayer vigil beginning at 4:45 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Barbara Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 2813 Lincoln Way W., Massillon, Ohio 44647.
