Donald W. Marsh, age 83, of Massillon passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 16, 2011.

He was born August 20, 1928 in North Lawrence. He was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Army. He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Sons and Daughters of Herman and Concourse Club.

Donald is survived by son and daughter-in-law with whom he resided Charles and Marcia Marsh and granddaughter Destinee Marsh whom he lovingly called Snookie, son and daughter-in-law Mike and Nina Marsh of OK, sons Robert and John Marsh of Massillon, sister Martha of AZ, grandchildren Kenny and Kevin Weber, Missy Marsh and grandson Donald Marsh of Kansas and several great-grandchildren including Shelby Wagoner, special friends Mark and Hank Pifer.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Drobney Marsh, daughter Patricia Marsh, granddaughter Amy Wagoner, several brothers and sisters.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Massillon at 6:00 P.M .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the granddaughter Destinee's college fund which was very important to him.
