Donald L. Rainey, age 82 of Jackson Township, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at his home.

He was born September 5, 1939, in Apollo, PA, the son of the late Ellsworth and Ethel (Kinter) Rainey.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

Donald was a proud business owner of Rainey's Appliance Service for over 40 years and never retired.

He was a member of Canton Baptist Temple.

Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Leslie (Hamilton) Rainey; daughters, Debbie Rainey, Kathy (Vic) Will, Shelley Rainey; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Ed (Joyce), Leland (Jessie), Bobby (Phyllis), and Clifford; sisters, Joann Womeldorf and Susie George.

He was preceded in death by three siblings, Elmer Rainey, Evelyn Earhart, and Sis Varner.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW,  at 1 PM with Pastor Jake Tovissi officiating. Calling hours will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home, from Noon to 1 PM.
