Donald Paul Stoneman Sr., age 67, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 following an extended illness.

He was born in Canton on January 10, 1944, the son of the late James M. and Estella P. Stoneman Sr.

He was a self employed painter and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era and had served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Donald is survived by wife of 44 years Janice C. Stoneman of Massillon, son and daughter-in-law Donny and Debbie Stoneman of Massillon, son and fiance' David Stoneman and Ashley Spratt of Quaker City, brother and sister-in-law James and Carole Stoneman Jr. of Perry Twp., sister Jean Christofferson of Cleveland and granddaughter Lauren Stoneman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Miller and Evelyn Walsh and nephew James Stoneman III.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 10:45 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel.

Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon.

Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
